I'm so grateful and honored to be selected for the fabulous fine art catalogue! So excited to see my two pieces on it. Plus, luckily those two paintings were already sold before it launches, so I want to thank my fans, too!
Art commission for Japanese bar name Hokorasha. " Hokorasha " on the bottle means "happy" or "wonderful" in japanese southern island dialect. Their color is orange, so I painted the beautiful sunset on the background.
My art work "Gold in Peace" was selected for APERO Gallery Fine Art Catalogue July 2017 Introspection! I love the curator's view very much. I'm really happy to be a part of this beautiful catalogue with such great artists again. Thank you APERO gallery!

Hi, there! It's been a while... apologies for that...but today...
I've got a something to say...
My piece, " Beauty in the Ordinary " was selected for APERO gallery June 2017 ' Surrounding ' Fine Art Online Catalogue!!
In my head, Christopher Cross was singing, Oh, the canvas can do miracles~, just you wait and see. Believe me ~ ...too old? Anyway, the miracle just happened. I am so happy and greatful to be a part of the collection. Thank you APERO gallery for accepting me. It means a lot to me. APERO Gallery team is so professional, supportive and wonderful. I love the curator's review for my piece, it's quite precise and written in such a beautiful way.
Please go visit their site to see the collection! http://www.showapero.com/june-2017-catalogue.html
I used a glazing technique for this one. Firstly I've painted using only black and white, and waited for a few weeks to dry, then added colors to complete the painting. In that way, it will give more depth and rich colors in a painting.
Hopefully this piece will bring more peace into your mind.
I thought I was not SNS type of person (I'm such a low tech person from a high tech country!) but recently I started Instagram. Guess what? I really enjoy getting the reactions because whenever after I finished my piece, I just feel like asking to anyone, " So, what do you think? " I got many feedbacks after I posted this one. Well, art really is a universal language besides music and dance, isn't it? and the world is getting smaller and smaller! How exciting!
I remember when I was working on this piece, I still wasn't quite sure exactly what I was supposed to do, although I knew somewhere deep inside that art was my true path to pursue in this lifetime. So, the words were for myself, too. I guess following my intuition always never go wrong even if it scares me. :) The theme, canvass has 3 meanings. Canvas for paintings, canvas for sailing boat and canvass as examine and inspect. Oh, well, life is a journey, isn't it?
I had fun painting the metallic part. Maybe I should choose metallic motifs sometime...
Here is another oil pastels work. This was a gift for my friend who is a great Pilates instructor. The word "Alignment " is essential for Pilates method and the orchid represents a human body, so it has double meaning as physically and spiritually... and guess what? She really loved it!
Thank you for viewing. Hope you have a beautiful day!
