Pears in Serenity

“Pears in Serenity”
Oil on canvas panel
6x6 inches
Available for purchase on Daily Paintworks

Here is my last piece in this year.  I like how Meg Ryan described a pear in the movie, “City of Angels”, she said, “It’s sweet, juicy, soft on your tongue, grainy like sugary sand that dissolves in your mouth”... :)

Hope my paintings brought you joy this year.  I’d love to hear your thoughts & comments!
Please expect more paintings in 2018.  I’m so excited to create and share them to everyone out there!

Thank you for viewing.
Have a great new year!

Beauty in the Ordinary

" Beauty in the Ordinary "
22.7cm x 25.8cm
Oil on stretched canvas
Available for purchase on Daily Paintworks

I painted this piece from the photo I took in my kitchen.
Beauty is everywhere if you just take a closer look once in a while.  Sometimes it's hard to find, because they are so close to where you are.  Maybe it's you in the crowd like the wooden spatula,
or maybe me in red in the ladle:)

Thank you for taking a closer look.
Have a nice day!

Gold in Peace

" Gold in Peace "
Oil on canvas panel 6"x 6"
Available for purchase on Daily Paintworks

I used a glazing technique for this one.  Firstly I've painted using only black and white, and waited for a few weeks to dry, then added colors to complete the painting.  In that way, it will give more depth and rich colors in a painting.

Hopefully this piece will bring more peace into your mind.

Thank you for viewing!

Love & Peace
