Event at Tokyo Big Sight on August 4th

皆さん、こんにちは！8月4日(土曜日)10:00-18:00に東京ビッグサイトでの癒しフェアに出展します！土曜日のみ出展なので、残念ながら日曜の叶姉妹は見れませんが、興味深い内容のフェアなので、良かったら遊びに来て下さい！

今回はアートのイベントではないのですが、オーダーメイドのペット油彩画の宣伝を主に、オリジナル油彩画、ポストカード、その他グッズ等販売させて頂く予定です。個人出展なので、小さなテーブル一つだけのブースですが、また心の通う交流が出来たら嬉しいです😊💕

売上げの一部を動物愛護団体に寄付させて頂きます。

Hi, everyone! Hope everything is going well.

Just to let you know that I will be participating in an event called ”Healing fair”/“Iyashi fair” on August 4th(sat) 10:00-18:00. Sorry for the folks who wanted to see KANO sisters, I will be there only on Saturday.

This is not an art event, but mainly I will promote my custom pet portraits in order to heal the ones who have / lost a loving family member. I will be exhibiting + selling my artworks, postcards & to-to bags as well.

I will be donating my partial profits to best friends animal charity.(bestfriends.org)

The free entrance tickets are available from their website, or I can send you the flyer & the ticket as the attached photo if you let me know.

Last Saturday I participated in an art event in the park for the first time and intended to sell 6 cat paintings. 

Thankfully event turned out to be such a wonderful amazing experience.  I met so many nice people throughout the day, but this generous lady who stopped by to tell me how much she liked my artworks became the most interesting person of the day who is a medium/psychic! 

Everything she told me was so accurate, it seems like she could see through me!! She gave me lots of great advice such as to keep on painting more and more and told me to keep two cats paintings on the table, especially the white one. She said there a girl like cats and never ever sell to anyone. So, I decided to keep them as my good luck charm. 

I invited her to sit inside of my booth & we all enjoyed the conversation almost till the end.

先週土曜日のアートイベントでは、本当に素晴らしい経験、そして出会いがありました。その中で一番印象的だったのは、このサイキックの親切な方です。最初は猫の話に花が咲き、私の作品を大変気に入り、たくさんの素晴らしいアドバイスも頂きました。そして、販売していた2匹のネコ、特にこの白いネコは手放さないで大切にした方が良い、とのことでした。不思議なことに、特にその2匹とは、前夜作品とお別れをしていて、とてもさみしい気持ちになりました。ちなみに作品を手放す時はいつも、みんなを癒しておいで、頑張ってネ、という気持ちでお別れします(^-^)。おそらく物作りに関わる方々は共感できると思います。

このイベントでは色々な意味で不思議なご縁を感じました。

ありがとうございます。すべてに感謝です！

もちろん、このネコちゃんは、これからお守りにします(^○^)

IAG Art Event

I’ve participated in IAG art event in Ikebukuro west park, Tokyo on last Saturday.  It was my very first time to exhibit & sell my artworks on public.  I met so many great people & had such a wonderful & special day! I’m so happy and grateful for the people who came to see my paintings.  

Thankfully, everyone loved my artworks, especially cat paintings.  Talking & sharing about my art & story with them face to face was something that I cannot do in my art studio, indeed.

Started from monochromatic painting using Ivory black and Titanium white.

This is such an effective way in order to get the right value.

Apply whatever the color (in this case, I used mix of Permanent rose and Ultramarine blue) thinly on the top of the first monochromatic layer after it has dried. For the background I used mix of Ivory black, Crimson lake and Ultramarine blue.

Still life set up using my black costume & the mask I wore at my dance recital on last Sunday.

You could probably guess from the title what kind of dance performance it was. 

Yes, it’s Michael Jackson and I used them for “2BAD”.

I performed my favorite king of pop, MJ’s 6 dance numbers! Totally nailed it!?...well, almost!

I really love to dance as much as painting.  All my dance mates are so great and I’m having so much fun.  It’s absolutely necessary to go out dancing because pursuing art is such a solitary work, and  usually during the daytime I don’t get to talk to anybody but me which is dangerous! :). Life is a balance indeed.
