I painted this piece from a photo I took from the airplane on the way back to where I live, Tokyo.

I wasn’t born and raised in Tokyo, but living in this city became the longest place in my entire life.  

Although I don’t paint landscapes so much, I really had an urge to paint this scene.  I was so excited and couldn’t wait to paint on my way home.  Maybe that’s my home.
